President Bush will tour the National Renewable Energy Laboratory in Golden next Tuesday to discuss his administration's policy to boost energy production from the sun, wind, and plant and animal waste.

I wonder if he will discuss why 31 scientists and researchers in renewable technologies were let go after his State of the Union Address?

Meanwhile, the gag on government scientists is found to be wider spread than just NASA. NOAA is also trying to align science to politics, instead of politics to science.
On Friday, Dr. Hansen said that the gag on global warming extends beyond NASA, and that the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA) is also muzzling researchers who study global warming. This suggests that there is a widespread pattern of silencing government scientists who are trying to warn the public about global warming. We know the Bush administration won't voluntarily change this policy-so we need Congress to step in.
